Not going to have any myself (sorry, mother).
But maybe around 25-29 would be fine. Parents would have been able to graduate from college by then and maybe already have stable jobs.
I would say when you are mature, have enough financial income to pay someone to cook for the kids when you wont, and enough energy to actually tolerate children(Which my parents never had in their lives).
how many people have made this poll? I have read like 3 times this same type of question.
I am male, so timing is not as crucial to me as it should be to women. But I'll be careful to make sure that when I do decide to have children, the woman I am with is no older than 23-25. Because the risk of many genetic diseases increases as the woman ages and I do not care to have disabled children.
I'd like to have a kid when I know I am stable enough to take care of myself and others.
I would think at least 26 and up even though I said 30. Atleast by that point in your life your established and have money to have kids.
No kids for a while for me..
I guess my first step is to get a girlfriend, who knows how long that'll take.
I'm 23 and not ready even though my family and my bf of four years family is trying to push us. I feel my own goals need to be fulfilled first. House, married, stable career, and a few vacations later I would be ready but at what age that would be I don't know! I think 25-30 is best age though.
I would like to have mine near 21-23 but I don't think I'm gonna meet the right guy just yet so probably at 25 I'll end up having one.
We are a lot calmer when we are older and can usually manage not to slaughter crying babies. I had mine at 32yo and know that I couldn't have coped emotionally or financially if I had been any younger.
