The Lion King
Sailor Moon: The Promise of The Rose
Alladin
The first three Saw movies
It used to always be eraserhead but now it changes depending in the day, it's a mix up between that, david Lynch's inland empire ( the biggest mind fuck I've ever seen)
Let the right one in and requiem for a dream
i thought eraserhead were a buncha pretentious weirdo for the sakea bein weirdo crap
blue velvet at least had a story and a naked isabella roeslini and that guy from quantum leap singin into a drop light
they should make kids watch requiem steada telling em to say no to drugs
I don't see it as pretentious as the talent is there to back it up, plus I found that especially with repeated viewings the story is there, rather than it being laid out like his more conventional films it challenges you to decipher it using metaphorical imagery and subtleties
It's like maholland drive, the story is definitely there but it's up to you to decipher it, it's like a puzzle daring you to solve it
Yeah, requiem for a dream and American history x are the two films I can honestly see being used to teach lessons
just cause lynch had some talent dont mean i wanna sit there and decipher his arthouse bullshit
i wouldnt be happy bout gittin my ass kicked at the bus stop if it were some bum or mike tyson despite the fact that he has talent
and thats just bout what warchin eraserhead felt like to me
I saw movie recently called "Daddy Loves Young Twink" It was pretty good.
I actually really, really like the movie with Hillary Swank, called "Freedom Writers". If you have never seen it, I really would recommend it.
Half of the movies mentioned here i've never heard of the other half watched long time ago cannot recall them.
Inception- Good brainy movie to watch and
Troy- One word. Glory
