For those saying non-fruits (I'm looking at you Gummy_Jr, Suckonthis9, and Parrish) and those that are going to say non-fruits, please stop it. I would appreciate it.

In botany, a fruit is a part of a flowering plant that derives from specific tissues of the flower, one or more ovaries, and in some cases accessory tissues. Fruits are the means by which these plants disseminate seeds.
In the botanical sense of "fruit" includes many structures that are not commonly called "fruits", such as bean pods, corn kernels, wheat grains, and tomatoes.

Wheat grains are both botanically and in a culinary sense ,"fruit".
As far as broccoli, part of this culinary 'vegetable', is from the flowering part of the plant, and so I think it is at least partly a "fruit". Would someone please consult a Professor of Botany on this.
Right now I'm loving oranges and bananas. In the summer I always want berries. But I don't care much for strawberries in the winter.

Really, I don't know though. Apples are nice, especially when they're properly crunchy and bitter. I like grapes too, and bananas, and lemons, and oranges, and strawberries and raspberries. God, I just love fruit! :D I'll go for apples though. You can use apples in a pie better than most fruits, and they're lovely by themselves.
tomato. They say knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in your fruit salad.
Hehe! Mine is probably apple too:D. I eat those most often (like 3 a day or something). Particularly Granny Smith ones. I also love strawberries, oranges, pineapple, mango, lemons, kiwi, grapes and loads more! I really love fruit. Although, I'm not keen on bananas.:P
Raspberries, blueberries, oranges, green apples, lemons, bananas, watermelons, pomegranates, strawberries, limes, cranberries, grapefruit (with sugar on them), and dragon fruit (kind of) :)
I'd have to say blueberries since I've gone through misery AND literally risked my life just to pick them.
strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are not true fruit (true fruit must be formed by the carpel of the flower). Tomatoes and cucumbers are true fruit, but are missing from this list.
Rock melons, man. They're the best.

I LOVE cherries, plums, nectarines, strawberries and watermelon and I HATE mango!
Barlett Pears, Asian Pears, blueberries, lychee, citrus juices( lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange), Tomatoes, Apricots, White Peaches, goji, strawberry (seedless), watermelon, plums, cocoa, coffee, etc.
Perhaps, you should get the girl you like a bouquet of Cannabis sativa flowers (the potent part) instead?
I think that you might get to fertilize (not pollinate) her ovum more facilely, if you know what I mean.
Then you would be giving her a Polydrupe instead of a Silique.
Wheat is a grain. The kernel of the plant IS, within the definition of botany, the "fruit" of the plant.... But within KITCHEN it's a grain!
Since we're talking about EATING foods here and not studying BOTANY... this isn't a valid answer.
Besides, there's MUCH MUCH more delicious fruits out there than any grain....

A "grain" is an edible component of a cereal grass (members of the monocot family Poaceae), It is botanically, a type of fruit called a caryopsis, composed of the endosperm, germ, and bran.
Within my kitchen (and I think many others), I call these 'cereals', not grains.
The question asked, 'What is my favorite fruit?'
If I had have answered, "cereal" or "grain", then my answer would have been vague.
My answer is valid, because we do eat cereals or grains.
The question did not ask which fruit do I think is the most delicious, but which is my favorite.
I answered the question truthfully and unambiguously.
