I am starting this poll to determin which drug is currently widely used.

Oh so alor of you are drug addicts....that explains the dullness in most of the submitted stories.
No alcohol no DMT, but you have cocaine/crack-cocaine twice and the example of opiates you put are Rx's, an opiate for all intents and purposes is heroin.
I agree but the site disclaims you must be 18 so I think it's the parents own fault for not monitoring their childrens Internet activity.

I understand most of us are teenagers/young adults but there are kids and middle schoolers on here as well.

Yes, I do know shit about this, I saw friends of mine in the 60-70's Hippie Era blow their minds out on Hemp. Yes it is addictive. So you are the one that is wrong here buster.

its a very uneducated and arrogant statement to refer to all drugs as being bad. Chemical drugs are arguably bad because they are not natural and are built to change you in ways that do not benefit you, which is why i disagree with the majority of drugs prescribed by pharmeceutical comanies across the world. However Cannabis (by which i refer to completely natural and unaltered),Tobacco (again, as smoked in teh amazon withotu teh cancerous chemicals that are in ciagrettes and tobacco sold in the uk and usa), DMT, and Psilocybin and many more naturally occuring 'drugs' or ethnobotanicals as i prefer to refer to them, have far less dangerous effects then we are made to believe. I shall not botehr to write a million words on this as i have written plenty of essays on these matters for my Philosophy degree, but il briefly outline why Cannabis should not be catagorised as drugs along with the chemcial shit like cocaine, methedrone, methedome, heroin etc.
If you smoke the illegal stuff bought on the streets here in the uk, you are exposing yourself to manipulated, harvested crap that has very low levels fo CBD. both THC and CBD are active chemicals in weed, and one without the other defeats the objective of using the plant. But so long as its illegal, this shitty weed will be the only stuff we can get, but if it was legal and regulated by the government then so that only natural 50/50 THC and CBD content is grown and bought, then we would not see the effects we are told occur in every smoker or user.
When both chemicals are present, they counteract the side effects of the other chemical, so without CBD you will feel alot of anxiety, paranoia and tiredness, but if CBD levels are comperable to the THC levels then no such pyshoactive effects occur as CBD itself is an anti-psychoactive chemcial. which means that NO psychoactive experiecnes such as anxiety will occur. I wil be happy to post a full length list of the proven medicinal effects of both THC and CBD to further illustrate my point.
Plants containing THC, CBD, Psilocybin, DMT etc have all been used sacramentally amongst ALL organisations involved in the most profound and important scientifc knowledge. The double helix in DNA was discovered through LSD as alien beings encountered within the 'hallucination' gave this knowledge to James Watson as a gift. Knowledge of teh sturcture fo teh solar system and the allignmetn of the planets was given to various Shamanic tribes across teh world including in India, South america, North america, Western asia and Africa, through teh use of DMT. The similarites in knowledge provided by this 'drug' clearly shows that we should not be labelling all teh plants as 'drugs' because that demonises them, btu we should in fact go back to how these plants were and are still used ritually in order to maintain physcial and mental health, and a bonding with nature and the natural world.
So logn as we are all pumped full of pharmeceutical chemical crap we will become further detached from the natural world and our origins and will continue to be disgusting, glutonous, naive and brainwashed idiots who suffer from allergies, cancer and STI's. Tobacco has been smoked every day in Shamanic tribes especially in teh Peruvian amazon and not one case of cancer has ever been recorded, because Tobacco itself is not cancerous but fights skin diseases and mental disorders. But again, so long as we are sold it in cigarettes with over 800 other chemcials in, it will be harmful. Please do not claim to be omniscient about drugs, when i can guarantee i will be able to prove to you that your idea of drugs are far from truth. This is nto an attack on yu personally so please do not see it that way, but i am increasengly depresesd and angered by the general peoples' naivity and ignorance towards such things.
It's unfortunate that you had bad experience. And yes, a lot of people can't stay off the marijuana/hemp and turn into zombies. Like all things, you have to be moderate (drinking too much water for example, can kill you too, the same goes for every substance). I do mushrooms sometimes. It's a natural substance and not addictive at all, i don't take it more than once a year, just for the experience.
every experience you can have on a drug comes from inside of you. its already there. you should find things to make you feel this way that don't hurt your body and everyone around you. try some different genres of music and invest in some quality earphones, or pick up running to get the high. there's a ton of things in the world that can get you to the same place if you are just willing to be patient. its different but just as powerful and in a new way.

For hard drugs that's the case. But there are soft drugs that don't damage you and are completely non-addictive. And they can lift a barrier that normally blocks certain things out. Many are used by ancient cultures for this purpose (to make spirit journeys etc.). DMT (the stuff native americans smoke in rituals) and magic mushrooms are examples of this.
It's not like all drugs are pure evil. For example, how many people drink coffee in the morning because they 'need' it to 'wake up'?
I've never been able to get high from benzos, no matter the dosage. At most they just remove a good part of my inhibitions. They're not intoxicating in any other way. If I take more than what's required to lose inhibition I black out. If I drink and take a very small dose of benzos with it, I black out. I haven't taken a big dose with alcohol. Don't see the point. No matter the dose it's at minimum a guaranteed blackout, and it's hard to have fun when you're unconscious.
