A phrase (said to a friend of mine by a homeless guy in Australia): "Fuck all over you".

It'll tickle me till the day I die.

This is probably pretty lame to you British guys, but I heard a British saying, "on your bike"...I love it!

The soccer hooligan from Eurotrip says something about a tonk in the tradesman's entrance....which I also find very funny. The whole tradesman's entrance part is what I find so funny....silly, I know. But people don't say things like that here.

Hehe, I've not heard anyone say "on yer bike" for years. A lot of our slang has been replaced by American slang because we get so much American TV here. It's a bit of a shame. Some of the old stuff was great.

One of my favourites was an alternative to "a snowball's chance in hell" meaning something unlikely. The alternative is "you've got more chance of seeing a one-legged cat burying its turd on a frozen pond". It's just the imagery of it that amuses me. How is a one-legged cat going do this even without the ice?

An alternative to the tradesman's entrance thing would be "a swift boot up the jacksie" meaning an ass-kicking. I think jacksie is rhyming slang (jack and danny) for fanny.

A friend of mine always calls cheese on toast "cough and sneeze on holy ghost". We have some great verbs that are still in circulation around me, too. Pootle, faff, raunge, and mither are my favourites (and I do use them every day - just not on IIN because no-one would understand most of the slang I take for granted with friends). Although I have an Italian friend who loves "faff" because it's both a verb and a noun and is almost perfect because it sounds like what it is.

There's something infinitely pleasing in telling someone to stop raunging, too; especially someone you're in bed with.

I'd love to get the world using some of our weird stuff. Never going to happen, though.
