Your list of ethnicities is really peculiar. You group together China and India which, between them, include two and a half billion people, but you don't see fit to dissociate them from each other, even though you dissociate such a small group as the Inuits or native Americans. I'm guessing (hoping) it's just an America-centric view that the world is how it appears to America, rather than how it actually appears to the people of the rest of the world.
I understand this poll is for English-speaking people. I've never seen anyone post here in any language other than English. But the ethnicity of the world's people doesn't depend upon what language you or I speak. There will be the same number of people of each ethnicity if I were German, Panamanian, or Malaysian. I'm sorry if I was overly critical (I think I was). I just wanted smaller countries (like England and America) to acknowledge that bigger countries exist rather than lump them together in some kind of "other" category.
You could divide it like this:
European
African
Native American/Aborigine
Central Asian
East Asian
Since you're talking about ethnic groups, you could also divide European into Celtic (Ireland, France, Spain), Teutonic (German, Swedish, Norweigan) and Slavic (Serbian, Ukrainian, Polish).
I don't know where the Italians and Greeks would fit in, though. Or the Sami and Finns (I'd suppose they might be distant Teutons?)
I'm not sure but West African, East African and African-American are different ethnic groups, no?
No great way to slice it, I suppose.
America-centric view.
Two points
1) There is no country called America. America covers two whole continents, and a lot of those people don't speak English.
2) It's written like its a bad thing. The country you grow up in shapes the way you view the world, and it's not like there are only two ways view the world. You know the United States way and "rest of the world way" Everybody from from every nation has an "insert your nation here" centric view of the world.
Mixed sounds wierd...there should be a diffrent way to say that.....Mixed Were not dogs ._.
hmmf well im white and im glad to be it. Accept i would pick Asian all the way. lol And it would be cool to be black too. Sorry i don't mean to offend anyone but i wouldn't want to be Hispanic. I have nothing aganced them.
