What is your biggest fear? or what scares you the most?

Just wondering if you had to face your biggest fear? Who or what on planet earth would you fear the most? Me personally, I fear heights and spiders. If ever come up close to a spider of if I’m ever on an airplane or something, those 2 things really get under me and scare the crap out of me!!!

What about you? Who or what things do you fear?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Worms don't bother me but I used to be paranoid of Leeches. Apparently they live where I am but I have never seen one so I stopped worrying about them when I went in water. They are super gross. Worms that bite you basically.

oh god yeah leeches are horrifying, i use to be scared of them as a kid because there was this movie i watched i forgot what it was called but near the end this guy fell off a boat and the water was infested with leeches and they basically sucked his blood and killed him and i thought that was gonna happen to me if i went near water lol. i think i've only ever seen a leech like once or twice, i use to live on a farm a few years back and one time it got all muddy and wet because it had been raining a lot and i saw a few of them which grossed me out

Day-to-day? Being tortured with sharp instruments.

I think most anything else, I could either overcome it or it would be over quickly. Torture tends to last a while. Go ahead and just stab me or something, don't do the slow, creepy stuff.

Semi-related: Slow-killing, incurable diseases. And poisons. I heard an episode of a podcast called Casefile recently where half a family was poisoned by a neighbor because apparently that's what Mensa's doing these days. The mother died so slowly and painfully that it sounded worse than cancer.

Semi-related, but minor: Psychological horror (films and games). When they draw it out, I get nervous.

    1) Getting fat again.

    2) Becoming a useless person.

    3) Homelessness.

    4) Certain people I won't list here. My plan is to ghost them when I move out of NY.

    5) Winding up like my parents: Broke at 60.

I am doing everything I can to avoid all those scenarios.

It used to be needles. Therapy and exposure helped numb that fear quickly.

    Now it's probably drowning/the ocean.

Fuck that I'm gonna keep avoiding them. The only time I want to be near a cow is when it's cooked rare on my plate. Even then they are too big, I can't finish a whole steak lol.

Earthquakes. Lived through one, it was a 7.1. It wasn't strong enough to take down any houses, but it was still damn scary.
The uncontrollable shaking, the rumbling, everything about it terrified me.

Death, losing my family, housefires, medical procedures and any kind of pain.
Lesser and more emotional ones are being forgotten, being hunted by people out to get me, and never finding love.

The loss of my child. I can't even think about it and just typing it is making me very upset.

Tornadoes: The only natural disater that happens here. I have lived through a few active Tornado warnings and I got real damn nervous each time. The thought that if it hit where I was I would be launched into the air and die, or at the very least it would destroy my home and all my possessions is a scary one.

Large animals: You all know how small I am now. Animals that look big to you look like absolute fucking leviathans to me.

Likely my biggest fear. Large animals terrify me. A large cow once walked towards me and my body froze up, my palms got sweaty, and my heart absolutely pounded. I was too afraid to move because I thought if I disturbed it it would effortlessly destroy the wooden fence and crush me to death.

It investigated me and walked away and as soon as it did I started breathing again and my legs felt like jelly to the point I had trouble standing.

This does extend somewhat to people. When people I don't know well that are much larger than me start acting angry, especially if it seems like they are reacting to anger physically (such as slamming their fist on a table), it makes me very nervous.

So basically you're saying that they look terrifying but aren't actually terrifying which means you view the damage they cause as something minor! So you think people dying is minor? I know everything I need to know about you.
