What is wrong with my mother?

My mother would always stare at me wherever I go or when I eat, she would always stare at me, it feels uncomfortable. Every time, when I am watching TV and she is sitting in front of me, she would turn her head behind to look at me for a few secs then turn back and does this a lot of times, I even try doing it back to irritate her or to see why isn't her neck tired from all that turning. My mother can also be sensitive and forceful, and if you talk back to her, she will give you that murderer look.
Can someone please tell me how to tackle this situation I am facing everyday.

    No my mom has a mental disorder & she always stares at me. Normal people will look & you, not stare. It is creepy to the max.

    A mental disorder or maybe she's trying to freak you out? Either way, it's not normal. Make see a doctor or tell someone close to you. Good Luck!

    What the fuck?! I would be scared outta my mind! I'm already experiencing poltergeist activity around my house occasionally and if I see someone especially my mother, staring at me ALL THE TIME I would be creeped out until I move outta her house! So no it's not normal

    My mother stares but it's because of her autism, so yeah not normal for me...

    Staring like that isn't normal though, you should talk to your mother about it but it might be some sort of disorder she has.

    I'm saying might though, could be tons of things.

    Try telling her it bugs you. If she doesn't listen then find something that irritates her and do it to her whenever she stares at you.

    She'll get the message.

    omg! i thought i was the only one, i would just talk about it in your case, like, ask her why she does this,and such. I doubt shes on drugs like the other comments said. if talking doesnt help her, try a therapist. maybe that will work

    Sounds like she's on drugs!! You should definately talk to a family member about this..she might be having a mental break down and maybe you shouldn't be around her

    I am not obese or anything, neither am I skinny.
    Seriously, I missed out a lot of points about my mother that is why it sounds "nothing wrong".

    She once called me "stupid" and wanted me to forgive her. (Though I don't even recall her saying that to me, maybe when I was very young?)

    She also calls out to me in a rude manner. I really can't tolerate that and I would just act retarded just to cover up my anger.

    When I slipped and fell, she laughed at me and said that I deserve it. (because she has religious beliefs)

    About the staring part, maybe I wasn't specific? She would also stare at me whenever I am eating! Like, how would like someone to stare at you for about 10 secs, then turn back, after that, again stare at you for 10 secs, and turn back, and keep doing it again and again like a machine!

    My mom does it too. It's either bc she can't believe your 'growing up' or bc she's just amazed by something super simple u do

    Go over this in greater detail with a school counsellor, teacher, pastor, family doc - or other trusted adult/relative.

    It wouldn't hurt if you talk about it. If she is wacked out of her head and doing it because she (hates/fears/curious about you) then it will solve some problems by letting her know that you are unconforable with it.

    Or, she could get annoyed and this could start the very problem you were about to have anyways.

      maybe its her way of telling her she loves you . Poeple will often steer at thier children as though in a way saying " I love you " or im " proud of you " or they just think your so cute . I dont know my mom steers at me still and I am an adult and she looks at me and starts luaghing and I say " mom whats wrong ? " and she says " your so cute" . I just kinda sigh and say " ok mom " .

        Alot of adults seem to do this to their children its usually a sign of saying " im proud,"I love you " or " my kid is so cute " .
