    There's no difference. OP is Original Poster (it took me a while to work that one out when I first came on here); FYI is For Your Information - I'm not sure about BC - because?

        Those are abbreviations or shortened forms of words. They make writing easier, but please do not learn them and try to use them in every day language. They make you sound very lazy.
