From my personal observations girls seem to be attracted to assholes. Especially good looking ones. How accurate would you say that is? Assuming you are a girl of course

At first, we can be attracted to assholes. Something about them just lures us in. They ACT totally sweet and nice.... At first. But then once they know they have us, they let their inner asshole out.
Then we think "Oh this can't be real. He was so sweet before. He must just be having a bad day... week... month..." And we want him to show his sweet side again. Then he hurts us. Probably a couple times. Before we realize the nice guy was all a show. He's not really like that.
AND THEN we are disgusted with how stupid we were, to just let all of that happen. We promise ourselves that once a guy starts acting bad, next time we won't let it go that far....

        Yeah. That's it.

My turn off, in *any* person, regardless of my relationship with them, is a major case of insincerity. I just can't put up with that. I always say I hate pretentious people, along with a bunch of other traits I dislike, but I can put up with all of that crap, as long as I like them and they have good traits. Insincerity is just an absolute no from me. I can't stand it. Those sorts of plagiaristic (is that a word?) personalities. I only mean this is the more extreme versions, though.

You know, those people who aren't funny, but think they are because they can recite jokes they found online. I don't mind that *too* much if the person *is* actually funny, though, and it's only something they do every now and again. I think most people do that. And those who try to say something nice, but it's just some cliche crap they read in a card or something. Unoriginal, awful people. Again, I don't mind saying something that wasn't your own (others would have said what you're saying a million times in the past anyway), as long as you believe it and are using it to express YOUR OWN feelings or opinions.

From what I've gathered, they're genuinely the only people I hate. And God, I hate those traits very much. I hate it so much that I even think of these people as not even being proper people. It's like they're just a collection of opinions they read in a newspaper, quotes they read online, their humour gathered entirely from joke books, their tastes not even their own. ACK! No no no no. Sorry, I know I'm being highly annoying with this, but God, I hate it.

*rant over*. Sorry about ^that^. It's not even specific to the question, just my general feelings toward people with personality traits that "turn me off" them, so to speak. It might come across as a bit contradictory as well.:S

I voted for drinking until the beerbelly, I can put up with all of the other traits for a guy that has some self respect.

My biggest turn off is dirty talking. When a guy starts his game by saying "hey gurrr you sexy" I won't even consider being friends with him. It's disgusting to be spoken to that way by a complete stranger. If he's checking me out or making suggestive comments, I feel disrespected. By anyone. No matter how good looking, period. If I know him and we're friends, it's different, but if I'm talking to some dick who thinks that's gonna work? No.

At a close second is being unemployed, bitching about it and making no effort to find work.

i really hate it when guys suggest that we go Dutch. I dont expect my man to spend a shitload of money on me, but i prefer that he pays on dates. I hate guys telling women they should pay or split bills because they like independent women. Other than that, i don't need a guy's money. but never ever will I ever go Dutch on a date, or date a guy who suggests going Dutch.
Besides,I don't like random guys who make suggestive comments about me. Well if we are both single and we met in a pub we got along great, if its just for one night it's ok. But if a guy just goes up to me saying that I'm sexy, showering me with compliments, buying me drinks, then expects me to have sex with him, not gonna happen.
    then beer belly and unemployment.
