11 years... let's just say we don't relate much since she's just now learning how to read back in first grade, and I'm a senior in high school getting ready to go to college.

      I thought you'd be older.

It's nice to have a person your age who isn't an idiot. It has been a long time since we've had that :/

      Anyway. Welcome.

It seems like everyone says that.

I'm pretty sure it was my little sister that gave me these grays hairs at the tender age of 17 and 3/4. I feel like I've already had the full little kid experience at this point. Too bad I have to leave right before she gets to the super cool 10-11 year old stage. I want to see her animal rescue efforts, obsessions with Ancient Egypt and black holes, and the vegetarian phase... maybe I should get her a subscription for Kids National Geographic magazine. That was what got me into all that science, history, and save-the-world stuff... hopefully it won't be Barbie dolls and boyfriends forever with this little girl!

Now that I've stopped rambling on about my sister, thanks! I'm glad to know I'm not a total idiot. I try not to be, but I can't promise anything as long as there is good food, a handsome Latin man, or (God forbid) both in the nearby vicinity! Anyways, thank ya, ma'am/sir for the warm welcome! I hope to have a great time here!

Damn, you should say that to my peers. They look at me like I'm an alien every time I open my mouth. That might just be because I don't say a whole lot though....

I know the age difference seems like a lot now but in a couple years you two will be really great friends!

Maybe. Idk. I'm the oldest child. She's the youngest. We don't really relate because we are almost total opposites. I don't really like her most days, but I love her.

11 years. She is in first grade learning how to read, and I am going to be graduating in a few months and going to college. Let's just say that we have a hard time relating.
