Snowshoeing.
I imagine some bearded fellow seated in the middle of a warm cabin, his skilled hands weaving together a shoe pattern passed down for generations as the sun sets against fire lit mountains.
I'm going to say either snowboarding or sledding. It would be a definite sledding if it was easier to get to the top of a large hill and sled all the way down, but unfortunately that technology is restricted to skiing/snowboarding. And skiing is just way too boring, coming from an experienced skier since age 4, who finally strapped a board to both feet in high school.
snowboarding now is a freaking fashion show...real snowboarding occured in the 90s
I find it so odd that skating and hockey aren't on here, let alone luge, skijump, skeleton, bobsled, etc.
putting small rocks inside snowballs then throwing them at cars passing by then duck down thats a good fun sport game.
I agree with b454 that hibernation is the best winter sport. I have lived in really cold weather all my life and I still cannot get use to it or see any reason for it.
