eminem used to have a lot better music that you could tell came from real emotion. like you could turn it on and feel empathy and better about yourself becasuse you could tell it was genuin.
his music now sounds like all the other shit that plays on the radio. i think the fame got to his head and he feels pressure to sound like the other rappers that are popular right now.
and what sucks is that i dont know if eminem could ever go back to making that good music, just because since he is rich and famous he has run out of things to talk about that normal people can relate to.
its funny how one of the choices is 'everything except recovery' lol i think that was where it started going bad. relapse sounded better but i liked it in the same way that i like kanye west or lil wayne, not in the usuall eminem style that i would like it.
his older songs you could listen to over and over and never get tired. these news ones are good too, im not going to lie, but they are just like other hits you hear on the radio that after a few times you just hate. like 'crack a bottle' or 'we made you'
What is the best album ... All of them. Great answer guys...
Eminem Show in my opinion.
Anything but Recovery. Eminem is getting... What's the word? Uncreative.
I've never bought one of his albums but I do have about 3 of his songs on my iPod (iPhone). "My name is...", "Love the way you lie" and, I think, "I'm not afraid". The only part that I disliked about the last song was when he started going on about how he ate some beans and now the world was "gassed up". O_0
I put other and decided to comment because I downright loathe E-Mine-Um.
He uses profanity instead of big people words, lacks depth and flaunts being physically abusive and destructive...to everyone and everything.
& also I don't like artists with food names, i.e...Meatloaf, Limp Bizkit, Korn ect, ect.
Im actually a huge fan of hip hop. I like all forms and artist ranging from Run DMC all the way to ASAP Rocky. I think eminem is an awesome artist even now. I like recovery, i feel like he did rap from the heart.
"Going through changes" is an example, he talks about how he felt on drugs, how hard it was to get off and how he was so ashamed he could barely look his own daughter in the face.
"your never over" he talks about his love for his best friend proof and how their relationship made him a better man, and gave him the courage to follow his dreams.
This whole album is full of personal experience. Some of the songs on the album do sound a little "popish" and that was only for radio play.
Eminem has changed over the years. But you cant expect him not too change the mans been rapping mainstream for about 15 years, battling underground since he was 15 and writing since 13. He was on and off drugs for a long time and he is about 40 years old.
^with all of that usless bullshit i said i like All of eminems albums. Hes in my top 5 fav artist of all time lolzz
Really? Ok, explain why. If you can make a comment like that, then you can at least leave a valid reason as to why.
It's like saying wether or not Stan Lee is an artist, or a cartoonist, both are different but to some people similar....which of them is he..?
If you can figure that out, then you can figure out that what I said is self-explainitory...Run DMC and Eminem are not Hip-Hop...they are Rap.
Jeebus, thought I said that already.
Hip hop is a culture. A culture that consist of grafitti, rap, DJing, and b-boying. Along with many other forms
If eminem and Run DMC are both rap... That would make them apart of hip hop. Manly because rap is apart of hip hop.
You clearly don't know much about hip hop. You voice your opinion without any prior knowledge.
A sub genre, of a genre, is apart of THAT genre. It's not hard to understand.
Rap is apart of hip hop. therefore, rappers are hip hop.
Do you get it? If not i advise you look more into hip hop, and come back when you learn something.
You know what, I hate rap.. usually. really, it just annoys me. But I gotta give it to this guy, some of the songs are pretty good. So i don't know any of his albums, but whatever i heard on the radio was alright.
