    Heat man! HEAT!

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone.
Because there is a dead man on the other end of this fuckin line.

    • Heat is a great film and a worthy choice. As the poll creator I'm a big fan of his entire career but I have a soft spot for the film midnight run.

      • Heat was one of the biggest let downs of the 90's, and is widely acknowledged as such. A 3 hour disaster.

So hard to choose between about 5 of them. Most on that list are great. Today, I will go with Raging Bull.

my pleasure. although it failed miserably when it came out i find it interesting enough. and the fact that it's the transitional film between taxi driver and raging bull that scorsese directed is a pretty cool detail

Yeah thats the one, I can't believe how many years it took me to see it, it'd been recommended to me a few times but I only saw it a few months ago and really loved it. I've not seen any of his other films outside of working with Monty Python but I can't wait to see some more.

I've bought quite a few, but there's still several I'm missing.

Top pick: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Others to note: 12 Monkeys, The Brother's Grimm, Tideland (not exactly 'enjoyable' - more incredibly awkward and difficult to watch, but a good movie, nonetheless)

Less good than Brazil: Time Bandits, Jabberwocky.

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas was him? I really liked it, it's the only film i've seen that shows Las Vegas for the place it really is. And Tideland is on lovefilm but I didn't realise that was him either thanks I'll give it a watch :)

Fear and Loathing is one of the best films ever :)

12 Monkeys was really interesting. Only time I've ever been impressed with Brad Pitt haha.
