When we're talking about responsible women who take care of themselves and just like to have a good time, I call those... women who like to have a good time. Slut to me is all about self-respect, and if that self-respect hinges solely on your appearance, how attractive you are, how much skin you can show or how many guys you can get in your bed, then you might be a slut.

To me, I couldn't care sleds who sleeps with who. A slut to me is a girl who goes out of her way,using seduction to ruin relationships. That's a slut.

A slut to me... Is a girl that's dumb enough to sex a whole team/ neighborhood of guys in a sleezy matter. It's not how many guys you've slept with... It's how many of them know each other well enough to sit around and conference how the girl handled the other. A lady is only as dirty as her deepest secret. Sorry to point it out to you but not every girl or woman wants to have a commited relationship, If you would learn this things instead of putting these ridiculous! labels, you would know It is also some girls way to find out what she really wants. I'm also aware that It can spread STDS if they aren't careful or are uninformed but as long as no one is hurt I don't see the problem. It is people like you that put others down. I do not believe in the term slut. I beleive that some people desire sex more than others, and that goes for guys AND GIRLS. Some girls (and, yes, women can be too) are just very sexually active. I'm not saying that's okay because they can catch deseases, but the term slut was given to women because men wanted them to keep themselves "pure" until marriage, so they can know that when they get a wife, they will be the only one to have had sex with her.

Sluts are girls who are either pretty, popular, or rich.
They become sluts when other girls get jealous of them and call them sluts. It doesn't matter how many guys or girls she has been with, she still becomes a slut.

No the clothing doesn't determine if a girl or woman has many sexual partners, It is understandable that you would think that, since there is a lot of confusion since things are just spread more easily than ever thanks to these amazing pieces of technology that are used. I personally think a slut is just an unthoughtful label that is disrespectful to girls and women, which it is.

I think of a girl who has no morals, and pretty much just jumps in bed with basically anyone. She dresses provocatively, cheats a lot, flits from man to man, sometimes even woman to woman, disregards the fact that the one they're after might already be in a relationship with somebody else, but that doesn't stop them, anything to get themselves wet. Sometimes they're sex addicts, forgetting to wait until marriage, and get pregnant at like 17, they have poor self control, and usually get their kicks by stealing the eyes of every guy in the room by wearing revealing outfits that practically already make them naked. Most of them don't even bother trying to build relationships, they just get what they want(sex) and go.
A slut is a girl or woman who will sleep with any man that looks at her. No condom? No problem. She'll take AIDS just as long as she got some pleasure the night before. If she gets pregnant, it's just a reason to get some money from the richest guy she slept with, because, really, does she know who the father is? Honestly, I'm also confused as to what makes a girl a slut. I've seen girls call each other sluts just for being comfortable with talking about penises when they themselves are virgins. I don't want to say that a slut is someone who has a lot of sex because but that definition, a lot of girlfriends are sluts.
I think it's fine to have lots of sexual partners whether male or female.

My basic definition of a slut is someone who is currently engaging in having sexual encounters with numerous upon numerous sexual partners.
I say "currently", because someone could have hundreds of sexual partners in the past, but they don't really do it anymore... if that makes any sense.
"Slut" is a double standard used to put down women who aren't afraid to own their sexuality.

Well.... besides that point I would like to reply to you saying that too many people treat the so called "sluts" like they aren't from the same species, Ofcourse It is also from the lack of tolerance of others or the ignorance or opinions how a girl should be. You would think people would understand why a girl would want to have sex with many partners but no they don't, It doesn't mean everyone wants to have casual sex but not everyone wants to have a commited relationship either. There is also a risk to having sex with many partners if the girl is infected or has unprotected sex also pregnancy. It's also slightly more complicated than that. Let's say a woman and her husband enjoy swingers parties and orgies. Is she a slut or just someone who likes sex and enjoys an alternative lifestyle? I'd vote the latter.
