What is a good name for the wee hours of the day?
There doesn't seem to be any word for it in the English language. I'm talking about the time of day after midnight and before dawn. They have names for every other part of the day, but not this.
Yes, I know it's at night time. That's a no-brainer. Morning and afternoon are during the day though, and they still have names.
The night is always darkest before dawn, and I'm on a mission to comprise a name for the time of day after the evening and before morning. Which of these do you think sounds most fitting?
