Actually furries are animals but human like bodies but still fur and paws and claws and they speak like humans thats what they are they aren't always bad things you know.

people who like to dress up as animals or "fursona", which is basically their own animal character that they created. it's like cosplay i guess.
there's also some that like to have sex in their costumes or draw porn of furries/animals, though these people are generally looked down on and if known aren't allowed to go to conventions/group meetups or whatever.

Not necessarily horny - most furries put the idea of sex with animals (or other furries, people, fire hydrants, etc) a distant second to the idea of just "being closer" to their anthropomorphic ideal.
In many ways (so I have been told) the whole furry scene is a little like the Transexual scene - the feeling of being "more comfortable" dressing in clothing stereotypically regarded as being for the opposite gender is separate and distinct to a person's sexual orientation.
