Why is there no challenge the friend to a duel option?

Would you care for a duet option, good sir?

I am simply stating a fact. That does not imply I care.

Since this is not the Victorian era.

Why not let the object of your affections decide with one of you he or she likes better? Neither one of you can let the other one "have" the person, because that person is not a stray cat or joint to be passed around. Maybe this person will not be interested in either of you.

    • Kinda funny how that wasn't considered for an option.

The only viable solution to your dilemma is, fight to the death.

I would only try to court her first if I truly liked her and thought it was dire to have her . If this isn't the case and I just like something about them or find them cute , I would most likely let me friend have his chance at her . I don't see the point for me to make it into a game and also my egocentric side tells me , I will be fine finding another woman , why make a situation tricky unnecessarily .

Agreed. And it's not entirely egocentric but partly realistic too

It depends, one of you might simply just like while the other might be inlove with that person.

Both go for it... although when the other person inevitably is chosen, or at least in my experience, I probably wouldn't able to be friends for much longer.

You should get help for your depression, not call people bitches. It's not my fault I'm better than you.

        • The only depressing thing about today was interacting with you. Using the term loosely of course.

I would most likely let my friend have the guy if it were that important to her. When my best friend likes a guy, she usually doesn't have the courage to talk to him and get anything started, but it would still be tactless to date a guy she really likes, no matter how unlikely the chances of them getting together. There's other guys I could go for. I don't have to start the one relationship that would hurt her.
Also, it honestly depends on the friend. My best friend is sweet, caring, and a good person. Betraying her would feel like kicking a bunny. But some of my other friends would double-cross me in a second in this case, so I wouldn't think twice about going out with the guy. It's fair game.

Thats actually happened to me. This dude came to my graduation party cause I invited him to fool around. So we made out and messed around then I went in my house and passed out cause I was drunk. So this guy goes and fucks my friend in her tent, even though she knew he was there to see me.

I was so pissed but I just said I didn't care and realized he wasn't shit so I let it go. Her and him ended up dating for awhile after that and he cheated on her and treated her like shit and I found out later on he'd actually been accused of raping a girl before (which I can believe based on how he handled me that night). So if that situation happens, I let my friend have the guy. He's never worth it.
