What household chores don't get done at your place?

I don't dust. Ever. Or wash windows. But everything else gets done. I just don't see much point in dusting or washing windows. I have curtains and blinds, and don't have hardly any dust-collecting knick-knacks. What about you? The question implies your household, whoever is doing the chores, whether it's you, your wife, your mom and dad, everyone helps, whatever. Just asking if there's some jobs that go undone completely.

It's dusting for me too. I just open all the windows on a gusty day and let nature do what she will.

I used to live next to an artillery range, man the dust was bad! Opening the windows made it worse! Plus the constant rattling of my house caused things to crumble, fall and peel faster than normal. I still, however, didn't barely ever dust! I hated living where I couldn't open a window! Only when it rained, it was OK. Backwards!

I go stealth in my house. It is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom 2 story and I only clean up after myself. Dusting is occasional. The people in my house don't really clean up after themselves at all. I used to spend an upwards of 8 hours cleaning the house and in 2-3 hours I would come back from my afternoon class and it would look like I had never touched it.

First time I cleaned that house, there was dog crap dried and solidified into (IN TO) the crevices of the wood floor. Took my 30 minutes to scrape/corrode it all off. There was a half inch thick layer of mold in the grating of the ice maker on the fridge. There was rotting food everywhere, clothing stuffed wherever, took me days to clean just the two front rooms and the game room. There was so much stuff everywhere that you could not even really see the ground.

Now, when the stuff piled up they just pile it up outside in the back yard. They have accumulated twenty rabbits which reside in a ghetto tent in the back and put the rabbits in a room with poo from them everywhere and just piles of stuff in the back yard and everywhere. I didn't know I was claustrophobic until I moved here.

  • Cleaning windows, washing cupboards out and cleaning the bin. I'd rather buy a new one - I hate bins.

It's windows for me - those things are almost impossible to clean.

    Another one is the oven.

We have the fucking window cleaners starting up at 7am on a random Saturday.

I'm lying in bed and some balding bloke with a moustache is trying to clean my damn window!

    Let them dirty, say I.

I have never even heard of somebody dusting their windows. Is it a white thing?
