What does this say about the state of the gop?

Regardless of how you feel about them or their politics, what does it say about the state of the Republican Party that with all party insiders, the current and former Governors and members of Congress, that the two frontrunners for the nominations are party outsiders that have never held any office, Donald Trump and Ben Carson?

One thing that frustrates me about politicians is that they spend more time criticising other politicians instead of actually coming up with solutions.

Ok, yeah by all means, criticise the opposition but for the love of God, explain how you would resolve the very thing that you blamed/criticising them for causing/not doing enough.

    • Yea I agree completely. A good example is the Iran nucular deal. I agree with the right that it isn't perfect, but compromises rarely are. But while they are screaming about how terrible it is, I haven't heard a better solution.

Unfortunately this has become the norm where politicians are scaremongering voters into voting for them. It is must easier to convince people to vote for them when they are emotionally driven often powerful enough that voters forget to ask the politicians what is their solution to the problem at hand.

This phenomenon occurs on both sides of the politician speculum.
