What's the context? It'll mean something different if he's a potential boyfriend, an ex-boyfriend, a gay man, your boss, someone you like who doesn't like you back quite as much, etc. It's completely contextual.
I'm not good at understanding context. I've spent 2 nights with this guy but never planned for it to last longer... And when he we were walking back last night he stopped and looked at me and said 'I really like you'.

What I have learnt about men is they say what they mean. They are straight forward. They don't say anything with a deeper meaning to make you wonder. They just mean what they say. Pretty simple really.
