I asked out my crush finally and he said no because we are too different. I have no idea what that means and he won't explain it...how am I different and how is that a problem? And he still wants to be my friend too...

    Its a polite way to turn you down. He is not interested in you romantically.

    Just accept the answer.
    I've made the mistake of being guilt tripped or set up to date someone I knew I wasn't into.
    It didn't end well.
    You can't force a feeling onto someone else.
