Who randomly broke up with me like 4 years back, starts talking to me again more than ever and stays up all night on the phone with me and calls me a lot even when he has a girlfriend of 1 year...

He never did this before, but now, he talks to me a lot.

He's a state away from me so I don't know if thats why he broke up with me, but he broke it off so fast. We used to talk every day, 24/7 5 days a week way back during the relationship and now, hes trying to talk to me more and more. I asked him if its okay with his girlfriend and he says its fine..but I dont think thats fine?

I cant tell if hes serious with her because he got a ring for me back then, but he didnt get one for her yet and he got a ring for me within a year of knowing me..so what is this?

I'm so confused and is it normal?
He's not a player because I was his first girlfriend ever and there wasnt a day that went by where we didn't communicate..

    You may be confused because you utterly refuse to believe what is obvious: he's a creep, a cheater, and has no respect for you.

    Or you too may be a creep, a cheater and have no respect for yourself because you allow some guy who dumped you 4 years ago, lives out of state & has a girlfriend to have all night phone sex with you.

    Stop this one quick, there's all sorts of reaons that he is doing this and that you are talking to him but overall it is not likely that there will be a good outcome and you will most likely get hurt all over again.

    Player or not, why are you willing to be his sidekick? That's playing yourself down and disrespecting his girlfriend and thus his relationship (the fact that you are his ex and still feel something.....or.you wouldnt be confused). My advice to you: stop this wishful thinking nonsense and show some self-respect. End the calls and set some parameters (such as no contact while he's in a relationship. Chances are he did this to you (talked w other women before splitting for the new one). Takebyour headboutbofbthe sand, my sweet! Don't you think your worth undivided attention?

    I have been in a similar situation. Trust me, stop talking to him now. Think about how you would feel if the situation was reversed. I'm sure it would bother you if he was always on the phone with an ex while you were dating. Even if he isn't serious about this girl and you ended up dating again it probably would end similarly and you're just going to be hurt more. Don't even waste your time with him, it's going to cause more heartache in the future.
