what does it mean when a guy approached you and look nervous, fidget with a ring (not a wedding ring) which is on his right hand middle finger and when he talk to me, he stop fidgeting, when i replied him, he looked me in the eyes, as in lost somewhere in them and hang on to my reply for a few seconds? i'm 19 he's 30

    He sounds like a rather weak teacher, lacking skills in personal interaction. He's probably happier talking to a whole class.

    I should add to that: basically, it takes a lot to put yourself out there at someone you like. A lot could go wrong, hence the nerves. There's also the age difference and the differences in position to consider.
