What does being chosen as the heir of the family business mean?

Assume that the business in question is a largely profitable (200-300K per year) but not a famous/world-class firm.

*out of all his/her siblings.

The parents want the heir to make the most money* 4
Other (please comment) 2
The heir's the least likely to find a job working for someone else* 0
The heir's the most capable one* 16

Yep and they want you to take over the buisness when they die. So you will have all the responsibility and must dedicate yourself to the buisness...a big honour
