    A tankini to play, a racing suit to actually swim, or naked if in in the woods or at the nude beach.

    At the pool, ordinary swimsuit. In the local river, whatever I happen to be wearing, but I don't wear my best clothes when I go there in very hot weather.

    Swimming in clothes and letting them dry on your body is great airconditioning in hot weather, I learnt that when I was living in the desert

    A Speedo type bathing suit (for modesty) under a full length dive skin. This protects me from jelly fish, coral and the sun.

        Very simply, there are things in the waters I swim in that I don't want biting or stinging certain parts of my body. I am in considerably deeper water than you probably find on your beach and especially when spear fishing, I'd rather not have my bits flopping about, hither and yon.
        It only took one little jelly fish sting on a male bit to dissuade me from your rather cavalier attitude towards swimming in the nude.
