What do you usually do when a girl says "you're prettier than me"?

-awkward laugh- Uh.. Thanks? :D ----You see, it's about taking a compliment gracefully, not sounding like a stuck up bitch, but not sounding like a total push over with no self confidence. Or at least thats how I see it lol

I would be quite confused if a girl said I'm prettier than her (I'm a guy).

I thank her. I am intersexed and was raised as a boy. I worked hard to become feminine and when I get a complement from another female I thank them. I also tell them they too are attractive.

Ugghh, that's such a lame ass way of fishing for compliments. Whenever people do crap like that to me I don't play into it, I'll just make a smart ass comment like "it took you this long to realize that?" or something way more rude. But they deserve it for trying to play games.

It depends how ugly they are. If they're attention seeking I usually tell them to "shut up" - If they really are hippocrocopigs, then a shy "Thanks" suffices.

It depends. Is said person saying it because they expect you to compliment them back? Are they saying it because they lack self confidence? Are they saying it to see how you reply? or Are they actually being sincere in one of those, "Yes, I know I'm ugly, and I also know that your prettier than me. It's just the way life is so I just want to let you know. Take it however you want but I don't mean it in a 'I-have-no-self-confidence or I-need-to-boost-your-self-confidence way."

I say noone is prettier we just are friends and thats what matters.

I deny it but don't compliment them back. I just don't like taking compliments because idk what the reasoning behind it is.. So I get a little suspicious. :P

well i always say to my friends stop being stupid and say what you just told me to a mirror! I want my friends and other girls who are insecure about the looks to realize we are all diffrent and yeah everything is eaiser when you just love your look i know i do but you get insecure of other stuff instead still better that then looks XD
