Haha! I know, what's up with that? Doesn't OP know that spices are the "in" thing these days?! I quite like Paprika as a name, or Prik for short.:P

Actually, I change my mind completely! I want a child called Balsamic Vinegar! Little Vinny:D. Aww.

Haha, I think Paprika would get bullied for their name:P. And no, I haven't seen the film. I didn't even know there was a film called Paprika:O! Is it good?

I think Paprika would be better suited as a girl's name. I don't see why it couldn't become an established cookery name like Ginger or Rosemary!

It's a fantastic film. The film is very confusing but it starts to make sense the more you watch it:) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paprika_(2006_film)

Heh, I just figured that Rosemary worked because it mashes together two nice names. I personally wouldn't want to be called Paprika:P.

Oh, and thanks for mentioning the film:)!

Actually, I think it would be kind of cute. Their teacher could pretend to be a gardener whose nourishing them as he/she watches them grow into intelligent plants.

I would never call my own child Simba, because Simba is a lion's name, but I also love it for that exact reason.

Jason is awesome! It's a name that is always in a crowd but never more than one person has it (like everybody is named Michael or Josh). Also if you look at the first letter of the following months:

    July
    August
    September
    October
    November

It spells out Jason! The only name to do that! Is that cool or what? It's a great name and I'm proud to own it :)

Basil- Its the best kitchen cupboard name I can think off.

    Thor

    Magni

Apollo- What if she doesn't grow up to fulfill the expectations of that name?

Aries or Leo- Only works if the child is that Zodiac sign.

    Cloud

    Phoenix

    Oak

    Ash

    Bonsai

Jupiter- Or would this be better as a girl's name?

Sirius- Sirius is both a large star and a constellation. The thing is that when most people think of the name, Sirius, they think of Sirius Black from Harry Potter.

    Nerium- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerium

Nagi- Is a place in Japan but I could have sworn that it was the name of deity.

Orion- Orion is a constellation. Known as "Orion the Hunter" in Greek Mythology. I believe he was killed by Apollo over a fit of jealousy because he had been spending a lot of hunting-bonding time with his twin sister, Artemis, The Goddess of the Hunt.

    Osiris- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osiris

Paseri- The Japanese word for Parsley.

Sol- The Spanish word for Sun. Easily confused with the word "Soul".

    River

    Ocean

Rain- There's a South Korean entertainer that goes by that name.

    Malachite

    Dominique

    Remas

    Roman

Nino- Italian name meaning; God is gracious.

Neptune- The planet was named after the Roman god of the sea.

    Leif- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leif

Jopari- He's a character in the "His Dark Materials" series.

    Island
