As of today, 3 million have died from the Coronavirus. What do you think the final death-toll will stand at?

It will be easier to predict the overall death rate at the end of the year for now it’s a bit hard to tell,it took about 10 months to get to 1 million,around an additional 4 months to get to 2 million and then another 3 months to get to 3 million,of course the figures could be higher than they are due to the nature of the disease but overall official figures still won’t be easy to predict until sometime has passed,let’s see especially how long it takes to get to 4 million
Covid is going to be just like the flu. we will have to get a shot every year and several hundred thousand will die from it each year. we aren't going to be done with it ever.
The death rate is probably alot higher than that because of all the 3rd world countries that dont keep records. The death toll will continue to rise decades. It will always be here but it wont be as deadly when everyone gets immunity.
It’s hard to say for a fact those third world countries seem to have done a pretty good job this time far better than most developed countries low figures are mostly in countries that closed their borders early/have a low influx of people etc a good healthcare system doesn’t equal low cases it’s rather a strong government unfortunately besides that more testing doesn’t equal high figures it’s rather the opposite and as many countries have learnt the hard way inadequate testing will rather lead to an upsurge in hospitalizations in a manner that is very frightening
How does high testing not lead to higher numbers? Say 100 people have covid and 0% of them are tested thats 0 covid cases. If you're in a country that doesnt test lots of people the numbers are obviously gonna be lower. And you can even look at a chart of which countries did the most testing and it almost lines up perfectly with whoever had the most per capita testing. The most per capita testing = highest per capita rate of infection.
Initially it won’t but as time goes on it certainly would lead to higher numbers,let’s say a government decides not to test at all for whatever reason if the people don’t have a high resistant to the disease after months Covid will be obvious hospitals would be filled to capacity death rates will sky rocket and it will have no option to start testing to isolate and sensitize the people,It is like playing a roulette,it’s easy to hide and isolate a few dozen cases here and there and then you would have some people would troop to the hospital only when the disease is just about to kill them those of course would be easier to hide just think about it China with an authoritarian regime tried to sweep covid under the carpet and even they couldn’t,if Covid is allowed to spread it certainly can’t be hidden anymore it all depends on the resistance of the population and also measures put in place to prevent spread
Hopefully all the fear mongers will die at the hands of covid. There is no place for cowardice of such caliber in this world.
You will never know the true count because the numbers were politically manipulated in order to facilitate the take over of your lives and movement to see if they could do that and succeed. And they have. This time. Anybody who died, regardless of the actual cause of death, who tested positive for covid, were counted as a covid death. If you were shot in the head, and tested positive, you died of covid. placing sick people into nursing homes condemned the entire establishment. Gov. Cuomo should be arrested for murder for doing that. So the actual death count from the virus is a guess. But I don't think it was the worse virus killer of all time.
I'm so sick of covid. Let's bring on a zombie virus this is getting boring 😑
not as many who die from cancer or heart problems . average age of death rate is 83 . yes younger people have died .but in my location 7 people died in month of november .2020 . 42 people in same location took there own lives in same month . . no out cry for that and average age was 26 . . alot of things not making sense about it all .sorry if im offending anyone but just was i feel . and lastly my mother passed away last june on her death cert it said covid related . my mother was 79 and had bowel cancer . .
Is that before or after china fudges their numbers? China probably has around 2 million dead. But somehow they have less deaths than america.
When I say "all of us" what I'm talking about is not necessarily from the direct result of covid, but from it and the indirect effects. The poverty and anarchy that it is causing. The give away has to eventually stop. Businesses are going under and the only ones that are going to survive will be those supported by governments. People will eventually see through the BS and start taking action into their own hands, if it's not to late by then.
I think almost every person in the world will be infected at some point if they haven't already, but not everyone dies
Judging by how slow the vaccination progress is going, I'd say probably 7 million. The first world is not even close to done with it yet, and the third-world has to wait until we're done. A third wave is also starting to happen.
Don't they have a new "wave" and a new mutation like every three weeks though?
One cannot even tell or know where one ends and another begins.
It is like at work when the company "rolls out" some more bullcrap. It is like, "Whatever happened to the last "roll out"?
