This extended triple-length advert is to publicise the Paralympic Games in London. I'll hold back on my own feelings for now, rather than bias opinion.

Note: Do not watch if you're offended by images of disablement or are easily upset (two of the three scenes illustrating why some people are disabled are, I think, deliberately realistic and may shock. They're not gratuitous, though).

    Well, it didn't annoy me, which is my usual response to adverts. So that's a plus:D! I also really liked the song they used, I've never heard it before but it's very good.

    But did it make me want to watch the Paralympic games? Nah, not particularly. To be honest they ended up selling the song to me more than the actual event itself:/. I wouldn't consider this a negative thing though, adverts really don't do much for me at all.

    ADVERT is NOT a word. If you are going to shorten advertisement you simply say ad.

      It's the most recent abbreviation to be added to dictionaries. Ad and Advt are the older abbreviations. Whether that makes them less correct or not is a point for discussion. I see both sides on this.

    I actually really liked it. I found the first half a little boring and the whole thing needn't have been so long. A minute would have been better. If it was broken up by the little bit in the middle, showing some the explosion and the car crash etc., I would have found it dull. I think that idea of showing events that caused disability could have been developed a little more to be honest, but I really liked that it was touched on. It made me interested in watching, which is what it was meant to do :P

    The song was very good too :)
