What do you think of the new furbys?

When I was 8 years old, Furby was the most popular toy in the world and I knew I had to have it.

On my birthday, I got a Furby baby and it was all fun in games at first. Not too long later, the damn thing wouldn't shut up. They said that they didn't really learn words from their owners like the advertisement said, that they just had a bunch of words programmed into them that they could copy, but whatever the case was, I kid you not when I say my Furby used to tell me to "shut up". They were supposed to listen to commands, well, somehow, when I would tell my furby to go to sleep, he would always reply with "No." He was always hungry and I can never forget the annoying sound of "My hungry!" and I'd constantly had to feed him. When Furby finally did go to sleep, you had to be extra quiet otherwise, he would wake up and not shut the Hell up for th rest of the night. Well, eventually Furby finally died (after countless times of being thrown up against the wall and thrashed around). The scary thing is, when Furby did die, his eyes were closed. A few days later, they had somehow opened up, and I remember trying to close them back but the just wouldn't budge.

Bottom line is, Furby was the most annoying, freakiest, bastadly toy ever. I can only imagine how "wonderful" they are now!

Because they had souls, lol.

Freaky as hell! There was one sitting on the counter in a shop the other day, gibbering away like it was possessed!

Haha, that video made me laugh! Especially because I read the comments before I watched the video. "Kill it with fire":D. I don't think it was supposed to be funny, but I have a weird and stupid sense of humour, so 1:08 onward made me laugh.

What the hell is this thing? Is this an actual toy? I feel like someone has made this just as a joke, even though I know that isn't the case because furbys were around when I was a kid.

And I've just looked at the Youtube comments for the video. "I can't wait to microwave it!" Hahahahahaha! "This shits scary, Mines talked in the middle of the night......." and "i don't know if i like this furby, he sounds like a sarcastic middle-school girl -.-" are cracking me up too.

I don't know why I'm finding this so funny, but I'm laughing my bloody head of at this! Thanks OPxD.

They're sooooo scary and they are so chatty. And do they even know what they're saying? IT'S JUST SOME RANDOM STUPID STUFF!!!

I dunno, they're kinda creepy but I am intrigued to see how the new ones compare to the one I had when I was a kid. XD That thing spazzing out in the video was fawking hilarious. That there is almost enough to tempt me to get one.

I love Furby!! I had the original one, I saved it for years but it got skinned (don't ask). Very sad. So naturally I want a new one.

They sound like great Christmas/Holiday gifts to give to someone that you wanna piss off.I was just thinking about that.
