What do you think of makeup?

I don't think it's my business to judge what ither people choose to do to feel better about themselves. I think if it's over done, it's usually unattractive, but they aren't trying to attact me, so who cares?

I don't wear it cos a) I'm lazy b) I don't know how to and c) there's nothing I could do to make my face look good.

I think it depends on various factors.

In my opinion, insecurity does play a part in it, but not in an extremely bad way.

Think about it. Make up, though used for expressing yourself, it's mainly used to enhance features or cover up flaws we think we have. Acne scars? Make up. Visible skin problems in general? Make up. Want your eye color to pop? Want bigger lashes? All done with make up.

Not saying make up is for the ugly/unattractive, because all types of people wear it for various reasons, but to say insecurity doesn't play any part in it is silly.

On the 80's most girls used enough paint that they looked like street walkers. It was normal when going out to the bar at night but not on the job. Now women use little or no make up. So I think you get use to what is normal at the time you are in.

I don't really care about what other people wear on their face.
I tried to have a make-up regimen a few years ago, but putting it on was so time consuming and boring. I just wear it on special occasions now like a birthday or Otakon. I do think I look better in make-up though. Maybe one day I'll give it a go again.

It depends how it's used. I don't use it because I already love my fat face but my girlfriend loves putting on makeup and she looks good with it most of the time.

I think she looks good when she wakes up or fresh out of the shower without makeup too but she'd never listen to me.
