Jealousy is like riding a rocking horse; lots of action, but you don't get very far.
It's always nice to know your friendship is valued, but when someone is excessively jealous, it can end a relationship rather quickly.
“If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.”
If you don't understand this quote, then you should remain alone and save yourself and anyone you become involved with the heartache of an awful relationship.

Jealousy is destructive. It needlessly breaks trust and can easily spiral out of control.

If two people trusted each other enough to start a relationship, then there is no need for jealousy. It's a weakness and a bad attribute to have. There's a reason why "lousy" is hidden in plain sight in the word.
Being jealous, in a relationship, only means that the jealous one does not trust the other one.

  • I do not tolerate jealousy from anyone. I wouldn't even be with someone like that in the first place. If someone is that jealous and insecure what is the point of them even being in a relationship.

Honestly it's not a big deal to me if a partner is jealous. But I do realize this could be because in my experience any jealousy was always mild enough to make a joke out of... or defuse very easily. Maybe I've yet to taste how toxic and explosive jealousy can actually make things. Now I is skerred
