i am really interested in this guy, he is 53 years old which is a huge age different then i.
He has no children and he is a real gentleman
But i know i have to very cautiouse and take babysteps
what would his intentions be?

I like it how people like to delude themselfes thinking persoanlity and age doesnt mean anything if love is involved. If you like him then go for it. Nearlywitches how can the guy be a pedophile if shes the one interested in him? not to mention she is 18.

Why do you care what other people think? Besides that, are you a virgin? A 53 year old man is not going to be able to keep up with you over the next 20 years of your sexual life. Even with Viagra. What about kids? I'd think this through and look at the big picture a little more carefully before getting serious. A little creepy for a man that age to be with a child. Yeah I know she is 18, still a child...
Go for it. There is no exact rule of age in love. But, don't have kids with him. That's stupid. You're going to be like 30 taking care of his kids when he's dead. It's just stupid and wrong. Don't have kids with him. ADOPT PLEASE AT LEAST!!!!

No that's pretty odd. I'm not saying it would never work because there are some crazy stories out there but you should really try dating someone closer to your age. Like some previously commented, half your age plus seven and that's the yougest anyone should go. :/
