What do you think is the most important accomplishment for a person??

To some people, more than one of these are pretty important. However, there's always that one goal a person goes for. Which is why there's no All of the Above or More than One option. Just choose one. If you have another in mind please comment.

When you grow old, to be able to look back, and know that you LIVED your life, not just survived, to know that you've accomplished something, to know that when your day comes, you wont be leaving this world without a trace, to die without regrets.

I would say independence. I don't see any pride in any other option (for someone that does not have special needs), getting married, having kids, etc. if you still have no dependence on yourself. Becoming an engineer is great and all, but your Mom is still doing your laundry? This date is over.

Learning, caring, and teaching, which is collectively one goal; fulfilling life's purpose.

I believe independence is an accomplishment for anyone.

But for me I'm more independent than a lot people these days so that wouldn't exactly be mine. I don't want my parents helping me anymore even though they still do. And I don't feel the need for a boyfriend right now.

Mine would have to be having my dream career which is opening up my own bakery in the future. There truly is so much you have to do to start a business, especially the start-up part. Considering you're in debt for a long time after starting the business.

I also would love to go travel and do food tastings... basically journalize what the travel and food was like.

I have too many dreams I would want to accomplish and I know they won't all happen but it's fun to think about them. :)

    • I don't see how you can just live thinking they won't all happen instead of just hoping and making sure they do. You're dreams are pretty amazing. I think you should be a little more optimistic about them. I know it a seems like a long shot, but it would be nice to know you did all you could to make it happen.

      Good luck :)

Yes I know but there are too many.

I even would like to become an interior designer. I had a teacher in high school that told me that I would be really good at interior designing, it was in my personal development class we had to do color schemeing and designing rooms.

I would also love to sell drawings and art work.

Or even maybe become a tattoo artist, not work at a tattoo parlor though just design them.

I would also like to become a Chocolatier.

As you can tell I love the creative work more than anything.

And my list just goes on... I don't think I can fit all that in a life time. lol. But you never know I guess I could still possibly fit all that in.

        And thanks! :)

        Thanks!

They do but they sure are really expensive dreams.

So well worth it though if the two I listed could happen. Just never not believe and it can happen.

I always think about the quote that Marty Mcfly says in Back to the Future: "If you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything". I love that quote and I believe it. :)

And if not it's still well worth the effort. Time flies and just take what you can get.

Most dreams are expensive though I think. I like that quote too, and I believe it was probably around before Back to the Future?

Anyway, I agree and I hope you get your bakery some day soon and travel across the world tasting food and documenting your experiences :)

It has changed so many times that I actually don't know anymore. I've decided to make my current job my dream career and do the very best that I can at it for as long as possible.

Be the best at what you do and leave a legacy, in my case start a successful business, so one day I tell my kids all what I made and went through

Another one would be to visit each country of the world for at least 1 week or so. I have 4 so far so there is a long way to go :)

I'd say having a child just because it's starting another life (which can then have accomplishments of its own).

Right now getting pregnant since I have a wife, home, and decent career. I'd imagine that some day when we are through raising children things like travel may become a priority.
