Age 7-8 1

    I don't know about laptops but I've seen plenty of wee little kids with tablets. It annoys me a smidge.

    I think a kid should get a laptop when they are old enough to buy one for theirself with their own money.

    Desktops are usually better. That being said. I am posting to a labtop hooked up to a separate keyboard, mouse and monitor.
