I have written a short book and I just think Larissa is a good name, many other disagreed so I'd like to see more opinions on this name, thank you.

I've only know 2 Larissa's: one was a drop dead gorgeous italian who liked BASE jumping.
The other Larissa had a good body but kind of reminded me of a man and constantly used men sexually to affirm she was sexually attractive. She ended up on a sexual harassment charge before being discharged.
It sounds like it could be the scientific name for some kind of flower, or possibly a throat infection.
Larissa sounds too muscular.
Go for something a little witchier...like... Alyssa
