What do you think about rich people?

I must confess in my mind I often judge people for being very rich. But I know thats silly and I have no right to do so, because even though I'm not rich for the standards of my country, I am very rich compared to most of earths inhabitants.

Thinking of how much good I could do in the world with the money I spend on needless things (like movies, games, fashion, gadgets ...) I can understand anyone from the third world who judges me.

When I meet a rich person, the first thing I feel is I don't trust them. I really have to hang out with them and see if they are a good person or not. A lot of them are such hypocrites and don't know what they're saying especially when they define themselves as good people, not stuck up, etc. Maybe they're not stuck up on the level of their rich world. But to the rest of the world in general, you're stuck up. So in the end, I don't trust them until I get to hang out with them, not listen to who they think they are.

Hmm, even though I'm very slightly classist (sorry!), I don't dislike someone purely for being rich. That's just silly. Judging someone purely on how much money they have seems a bit shallow. It's kind of trivial. I feel much more comfortable around people from a similar background to myself, but I'm sure there are loads of nice, rich people. I've never really met any rich people before, actually. Huh, is that weird?

Anyway, I prefer to judge people on their personality, not how much money they have. I dunno, I imagine I might feel a bit out of my depth with people who had ridiculous amounts of money.

It depends on why theyre rich. Monsanto for instance are such pieces of shit, george bush, equal.. but if ur rich w/o hurting anybidy, thats great!

Its utterly ridiculous to hate anyone's status of class.

I think it's selfish to keep money laying around and waste them on things no one needs instead of doing something important with them. I don't think anyone deserves to be rich as log as there are so many poor people in the world.

It depends on the person. Some of them are greedy, selfish, terrible human beings, others are good people. I'm not going to judge somebody just because they have a lot of money. Hell, a lot of them worked very hard for that money and deserve. I judge people based off their actions and how they treat others. Although I think if you worked for the money it is you money and you have the right to do whatever the hell you want with it, I have more respect for those rich people who are willing to give some of that money up for someone less fortunate. But, again, it just depends on the person. Not all rich people are bad.
