    I really don't care about Ikea, but I do like the cinnamon rolls they sell in their food court.

    Ikea is okay if you just need or can only afford cheap cabinets, desks, tables and so forth. They won't survive multiple moves though. They'll start getting wobbly and/or fall apart.

    I don't mind IKEA... Affordable furniture that is easy to build and looks ok. In my college years, all my stuff was from IKEA. Now tho, I can afford better furniture for my place.
    Only have IKEA stuff in the bathroom and on my balcony.

    IKEA is cheap solutions for urban survival living. Alternatively, you could also put camping gear in your New York City shoe box apartment.
