What do you think about gay male couples kissing in public?

Where I live I quite often see gay male couples kissing in public (on the train, etc). Usually it's not full on making-out, just holding hands and small kisses.

What do you think about such behaviour in public?

I love seeing gay male couples kissing in public! 97

I don't care who you are, just don't fucking make out in front of me.

  • Honestly, I find all "making out" a bit awkward. I don't like watching any couple do it public, but it is their right to do so.

I feel no different about homosexuals kissing n public than heterosexuals.

Holding hands, though? There is nothing wrong with that.

More power to them. Nothing wrong with being in love and showing your partner affection in public. straight or gay.

Where I live, people still aren't that welcoming of gays. So if I see any gay couples openly holding hands or kissing, I just think 'good on them! they don't care what people think'

Full on making out though, I hate seeing that whoever it is. My girlfriend tried to make-out with me in the middle of town and I was so embarrassed.

No one should make out in public. Why do people think gay couples are cuter than straight ones? (Like above comment).
Gays are equal, not superior to the rest of us.

Answer to the question is just because one says its cuter doesn't make it so.

I don't care more than I care about any heterosexual couple. Actually gay people kissing are actually more strict and don't look like they're going to fuck in any minute in front of people.

Sorry I don't like it. Also, people have reacted negatively when I, or others have been observed kissing in public, so why should gays get to do it?

Preferences seem to be given to them now. And the PC folks love to call anyone a homophobe if you disagree with their way of living. Agree?

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this, but I do find it repulsive. Not if they're showing affection inconspicuously, holding hands for example, but actually full blown hay smooching is quite disgusting in my opinion. I have known a few gays in my time, and none of them would go that far in public.

I see no problem with it. If straight couples can make out in public, why can't they?

I think it's way cuter than most straight couples. Less superficial. When straight couples PDA I usually think they are just putting on a show and they're not really that in love. Not always, but usually.

A man kissing a man to me is the same as seeing a man kissing a woman and it only reminds me that I'm forever alone

Making out in public is gross, not only that but think about all the pervs around. Gay or not a little peck doesn't bother me. I'm a lesbian and when my partner and I go out we occasionally will give each other a little kiss here and there but when not many people are around. Especially if there's kids or elders we're super cautious about even holding hands, Unfortunately. It's quite sad and people don't realize that.

I think 'making out' should be more of a private thing. But for some reason when I see gay guys holding hands or giving a little kiss in public, it melts my heart. I dunno why I think it's so much cuter than most other couples, but oh my gosh gay men are so adorable.

Honestly, I would be a bit offended if a couple just started making out right in front of me, gay or straight.
    It just makes me uncomfortable.

A simple kiss on the lips or cheek is fine,
but a full blown french kiss? No.

I find it weird to see, but that's only because there are so few gay couples (men or women) around, openly displaying affection, where I am. It's jarring because I'm not used to it.

But "holding hands and small kisses" is very inoffensive, I would have no problem seeing that. It's not like they're shoving their tongues down each other's throats or groping in front of everyone (which I would find inappropriate in public).

  • Don't like it. I mean I don't hate it. I'm not crazy about seeing anyone kiss in public, gay or straight. That said, i'm not going to act like I'm a perfect example of tolerance, it does make me more uncomfortable to see gay couples kissing in public. Call me a homophobe, i know that's not the way I'm *supposed to* react, but i can't change my knee-jerk reactions, i just think its a little bit more gross than seekng straight couples kiss. But i dont really care that much

Why should it be a thing?
95% of all couples I see kissing in public are heterosexual, sometimes they even do "more" than just kissing. Never experienced that with a gay couple.
