  • Same way I feel about straight Christians. Sexual orientation is irrelevant.

    • Isn't it in the bible that a man should not lay down with another man as he would a female?
I'm not christian but I understand why christians might dissaprove with homosexuals, not that I agree with them thinking such things.

I agree that its a sin.. but so is cheating, stealing, lying, ect.. and even the Bible says that no sin is greater then the other. Now having said that, I hate it when people say stupid things like "You're going to hell!" or "God hates you" because that is SUCH a lie! God loves everyone and you're going to hell just bc you don't believe in Him.. so technically the worst person in the world could believe in the gospel right b4 they die and they'll go to heaven. They don't have to prove that they are worthy. you get what i'm trying to say?

That can be interpreted differently, laying down with a man as you would a female= anal sex which is a sin because of the direct contact with feces which is a grave sin. However if you lay down with a man as you would a man via Frot, where is the problem?

Honestly, I don't like most hardcore Christians. I don't mind the sort that just believe in a God or just take the good messages from the bible and apply them, like love thy neighbor and thou shall not steal, but when hatin' starts, it's a pretty big turn off.

Long story short, gay or not, if you're an uber-Christian, we probably won't get on too well, but I can try.

    gay and Atheist

I have Christians tell me god hates me and im going to go to hell, Christians telling me that god will save me and help me become straight and Christians tell me it's fine to be gay god loves everyone.

    although
people have the right to their own choices.. religion and sexuality its what you believe in and who you are. there's no reason to judge other people!

Where's the "I'm neither a Christian nor an Atheist and I support gays" option?

First a gay Christian has to decide if they really believe the Bible. While there are different views as to the extent to which the Bible is inspired, there can be no doubt that the Bible itself claims that every word in every part of the Bible comes from God (1 Corinthians 2:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). If a Christian believes this then why not also believe that God would make sure all translations are correct? Now that being said, read this;•Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."1
•Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
•1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
•Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

You're A-1 fucking right. For the very reasons you stated, LGBTQ christians are dumber than regular christians.

  • Sexual orientation shouldn't matter to a so called, "all loving god." God dosen't get to choose which ones he wants to love based on what their sexual orientations are.

Part of the reason I left behind my Christian upbringing is because of this issue. I am bisexual, and have a number of gay and lesbian friends. I fully believe and feel that people are born to their sexual preference and cannot change it, no matter how hard they pray to any God or Goddess. However, one can change their religion. I think it must be difficult to be a homosexual xtian because the religion clearly is so against it...however, I also found it hard to be an xtian, so maybe I'm not the best..

Christians are so horrible with their hypocrisy and putting themselves in god's position. I hate going to churches for these very reasons (even though I practice no religion) I hate how the preacher is "preaching the word of the bible" and says who will go where when they die. Christians have absolutely no right to judge others because first: by doing that they go against everything they stand for. And second: when did becoming a "Christian" mean you somehow obtain god's powers to damn your equals? People are so damn stupid. It's not even anyone else's business who likes boys and who likes girls. Their homophobia is so childish.

the bible says a man should not lie with a man. which i think says it all so gay christans are a bit like alcohlic christians they continue to do what there religion tells them not to. that been said i disagree with the idea of religion in the first place the idea of a god who made everything yet wont let someone into heaven cause they dont go to church is laughable

    • Its not because they don't go to church, its because they don't believe. Read your Bible b4 you start making fun of people and what they believe.

Gay Christians are idiots rephrasing an already rephrased "holy book" trying to hold on to a semblance of a community that wants to ostracize them. It's the equivalent of an African American trying to join the Klan, or an Italian trying to join the Panthers...or anyone not Italian trying to join La Cosa Nostra. It's asinine.

Santeria...now there's a christian-esque religion that has a whole god out of it's pantheon dedicated to protecting gays! And you can do magic too!

    Romans 1:18-32
Nature shows it plainly that homosexuality is not designed. Statistics show it plainly that homosexuality is not healthy. Homosexuals show it plainly that it is not beneficial to society.
Wisdom shows us what is plain, the real problem is people want to do what they want to do, even when it is wrong. It's been going on since the beginning of time.
The last verse here says that "they know the judgement of God." Everyone has been given a basic scale in the heart to measure right and wrong. Even if we were to "omit" homosexuality out of the equation, everyone would still be caught by their own words and found guilty of doing wrong. Doing good deeds do not erase the wrongs we have done, they only cover them up. The problem here is, heaven is heaven because everyone there is sin-free. The only hope for us all is to have our sins completely forgiven rather than covered up. And Jesus is the only One who can do this.

I agree with danh34me. It is painly written. People who find themselves struggling with their sexuality needs to seek help from someone who has been washed clean of that same sin.

Take me for example, I have been watching porn nearly every night for a year now. So, I definately have no rom to judge and/or try to condem. Its a hard thing to deal with but I am going to try many option.

I don't believe that God made people as "gays".....it's their nastiness and preference for a less than honourable lifestyle.

As opposed to being sanctioned to beat your wife on a whim, of which many in your camp consider the weaker sex due to eve's gullibility. Apply your notions, then, to Michael Vick. After all, god gave Man dominion over the earth and everything in it...right?

I'm a gay atheist and a gay Christian is fine there's no real difference, so long as he doesn't preach to me the bible and give me the"you must take that up with God" I'll slap him then and I'll slap a satanist as well for that same reason. God doesn't make mistakes does he?
