Not a filipina.
But, Ive noticed they learn english and intermarry more than mexicans.
You dont see filipinos demanding all signs or instructions in the U.S.A. also be in illicano, or tagalog.
Last time I was in hospital there were a few Filipino nurses working on the ward. They were professional, polite, friendly & certainly weren't afraid of hard work.
I kept on getting a disapproving sigh & shake of the head off the Filipino nurse in charge for leaving the ward for a smoke. I guess if she didn't react that way she wouldn't be doing her job properly.
I spent 15 years living in Las Vegas, and there were a lot of Filipinos living there. I think Filipinos are nice, decent, hard-working people in general.
From the ones I grew up with some being from the Philippines or sometimes I would meet relatives of theirs who would come to visit from there can be very respectful people if you respect them back.
Some are great some are not they are just like everyone else so its a individual thing.
One of the nicest Filipinos I know in my life was my first to second grade teacher who I see from time to time really nice woman.
Being I am Filipino myself I think we can be driven, creative and mentally along with physically in shape. Socially we may struggle but give us time and we will thrive. I thank you for posting.
