What do you think about: "one night stand" relationships?

One night stand relationship is an oxymoron. Those concepts are opposites.

Where's the option for I would like to do it but it rarely happens.

When you travel with a band, that's about all you get, most times.
I have had some very, very intense and loving relationships that only lasted 5 or 6 hours. I don't think it's about length in some ways, but about connection and intensity. For that moment of time I could not have loved them any more than I did, and it was heartbreaking to go.

However I'm not single anymore so it's in my past.

I don't believe in one night stands. I think they're just for younger people who don't know what they want in a relationship, if you're still having them past 30, grow up.
I personally could never have meaningless sex with someone I don't even know. I want more out of it than just one night.

It's perfect, I do it all the time. I don't think I can handle a long term relationship. One sex partner only, beh!

I think one night stands are totally degenerate and a hotbed for disease. Nature provided the ability to self satisfy without that risk. And I can't see how one nighters can ever be about connection and I think people are delusional if they think that's what it is- it's just biological sex and can't be anything else but that.

"One night stand" means not a relationship. Why they call it a "One night stand". I not sure what you are missing here.

If that's the kind of thing you enjoy, I see no reason not to. As long as you inform the other party that a long term relationship is off the table before hand... though personally, I mate for life.

In my early twenties I slept around alot. I enjoyed it for many years but towards the end I started feeling a compelling emptiness inside. Nowadays I'm just alone.

Too many guys and gals for that matter, just want [need] to get laid. No cares after a few drinks. It may be that there are unintended one-night stands as it is. That may be unavoidable. It can be a nice thing to have an active sexual partner eventhough you may not live together but share the physical intamcy and most aspects of life together and enjoy each others company.

If I lust after a chick wearing cute clothes and heels and can pick her up I will bang the shit outta her and savour the memory!
