I'd say being smart is less important than being kind and fun. Smart is still important because intelligence is a key ingredient for communication and understanding each other, but it can't win me over someone who is unkind and uncaring. I do think there's something very sexy about "book-smartness", but there are a lot of things I think are sexy and bookishness is just one of them.

Intelligence is relative. I have high standards of intelligence. The average guy from my old high school was a moron and would probably classify Kim Kardashian as 'intelligent' in some convoluted way.

There be a flaw in the options. "Not that smart, boring personality but good looking" is redundant cause there is already goodlooking -with- fun.

I prefer them to be attractive and dumb. Because i can easily get them to have sex. I'm not interested in women for any other activity than sex so what's the point in intelligence?

It scares me a little that your examples of "smart" are "how to pay bills, write, cook," which just corroborates what Dantevus said, that it's all relative.

My IQ is in top 2%, I enjoy math, and I follow science news daily. To me, a "smart" girl would be the one with whom I could easily discuss the latest scientific news or ponder complex questions of the world. I don't even put cooking into "intelligence" category. It's just a skill.

As for what would I rather choose, I couldn't pick an answer. It all depends on how the "whole package" feels. But at the end of the day, if I'm tired and down on the dumps, I'd rather be with a fun girl who could get me smiling, than someone who could give me the latest science factoid.

My feelings on the matter are rather specific. The ability to walk around naked while quoting Walt Whitman are grounds for marriage, I feel. I would also appreciate it if she didn't mind the fact that I talk to people that aren't there, that my cats eat off of fine China, and that my penis is rather small. I suppose the lower-most choice on the list might suffice.

I want a nice quiet girl who is smart and has interesting hobbies and when I least expect it she comes up with a new and innovative way of hitting me in the balls.

I don't find intelligence to be particularly important in a partner. Obviously wouldn't want a complete ignoramus, but hardly as important as the other two characteristics.

I think a lot of women are attractive, but I'm not attracted to them unless they're knowledgable of some sorts. Same goes with men, which is why I'm engaged to someone intelligent, sweet, and funny. Personality goes a long way with this woman (;

It depends on more than just that but I can give some opinions on each of those traits.

Personality is most important to me because I have to get along with somebody to be attracted to them. I've never been attracted to girls I don't have compatible personality traits with. Personality wise I like someone who is fun and likes doing things. I'm pretty active and like adventure so it would be hard to be with someone who was boring. Activities I like are music, games, outdoors and science. I like someone with similar interests.

Looks I am not too picky, but if it were a sexual relationship I would need to be attracted to them. Morbid obesity or being too outside my age group are deal breakers but I only care about those things for sex.
I do prefer girls that do not put too much makeup into their looks but are well fit. I don't like the fake look a lot of girls try. Many things like hair/skin color or height I do not care about.

Brain wise I like someone who is similar minded to me because I do not understand society very well.
I don't mind mental disorders because I'm not so normal myself, but I do like logical intelligence and not so much someone who acts ridiculous over emotional things. I also like to be able to have intelligent conversations, but intelligence is a vague label for many things. I don't mind immaturity or social and learning problems, but like to talk about more philosophical subjects.
