    It's tragic, but why exactly did it need a picture of a toddler to show the severity of the situation? What about the number of refugees dying at sea and in unventilated trucks trying to escape their tragic situations?

    Also, what kind of monster voted "He wasn't important"?

    See, another perfect example of how mean, vindictive and just plain evil gawd really is. If gawd has the power to create the heavens and the earth, then it certainly has the power to save that little boy and his sister, or were they terrible sinners deserving of such a horrific end?
    Fuck any gawd that is that horrible to little innocents. Don't give me any crap about free will either; this child never had any choice at all about being in that place at that time.

    It's heartbreaking. But actually only because in this case the death of a child was given a face.

    About 9,000,000 children die each year before the age of 5. Each year. But we don't have pictures of all of them. Your heart won't survive feeling sorry for all of them.

    A just and benevolent goddy will receive him in paradise? Well... Good luck with that. I wish I was primitive enough to believe that.
