Have you ever considered smothering them, and then when they finally breath, tell them to value the air they they are so blissfully wasting.

1.check his pillow first and if the size is not right please get him one. not too high not too low.

    2. next suggest him to sleep side ways.

    3. check if the pillow is placed rightly. which means the height of the pillow should start from the shoulder level and the neck and the head should be comfortably resting. fondle with his hair for a while and massage his forehead for few minutes while just lying on right posture. and make a cross on his forehead with your thumb. this will psychologically sooth him.

    4. middle of the night if he starts snoring again check his pillow position and nudge him and tell him to sleep comfortably again the way you taught him.

    5. once in a while suggest him to drink bit of water in the middle of night. that will help nose and mouth to remain hydrated enough.

    6. do not be disheartened and keep doing this for as long as his muscle memories will adopt this new system. then you dont have to worry.

    7. i did this to my husband right after marriage and now i have a peaceful night for myself. i dont have to care that any more. i took care of him the way i would care a new born baby at night. it took one and a half year. The best remedy ever.

people know many things about snoring but they simply miss out the most simplest reason. normally it happens mostly to those people who have or had a habit formed during teenage time- which is sleeping while watching television. they dont realise that they fall asleep in very odd postures which makes breathing difficult. parents dont care to see how their teenager is sleeping after certain age. so this becomes a kind of habit for their muscle system.

learn to sleep in right posture first. if this does not work please consult the doctor. also some yoga in the morning and soothing and relaxing music will definitely help.so now you know why the drinking is bad for snoring.

This has worked on my husband, i hope this will help you too. please do update me and send me feedbacks in my inbox message if this works.

    My best wishes! :)

I nudge them a little in hopes that they'll change positions and stop snoring. Sometimes even getting them to change the position of their mouth a little will be enough to quiet them down.

    Comment Hidden ( show )

When my girlfriend would do that, I would "accidentally" shake the bed to wake her up so she would temporarily stop her annoying snoring.

My husband snores like a chainsaw. Usually I just give him a little push or a kick (a gentle one, I swear!), and he'll roll over and stop for a while.

Make light noises/distractions so as to not wake them up, but startle them in their sleep so they'll stop snoring.

I snore, she snores too but she wakes me up when I do it as if I've committed a great offense. This may be why some couples living under the same roof sleep in separate bedrooms.

Lol I actually would laugh at them. I dunno I'm just weird like that. I'd video tape them and pull some prank on them, but most likely I'd just laugh and giggle at them. xD

Turn them over, or a subtle nudge so as not to wake them, but enough to interrupt their snoring.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • My boyfriend snores some nights. Only some nights, not all. When he does, it's really loud!! :( So I usually wake up to it. And I lie awake hoping he will stop soon. If he continues on forever though, (I mean I need my sleep!) then I'll apologetically wake him up and suggest he shift around a bit.
