What do you do for a living? What field are you in? I thought it'd be fun to find out what everyone did. I work in Education. I'm a Counselor in a school. Feel free to just vote on the categories if you want to participate and/or to specify exactly what you do in a post :).

I fix hospital electronics. I have to speak the same languages as doctors, computer nerds, nurses, lab techs, building maintenance, optometrists, etc etc, to keep things running smoothly.

    Again very, very nice work. I think you were underpaid, though. If it had been a painting, $200 probably would be a low estimate of it's value, if it was your first sale, IMO.

      Thank you I am an unknown starving artist so I tend to only charge around 10$ per hour for my work.... I used to only do 8$ an hour but everyone told me that was far to little lol.
      
      That is a happy face it has arms on each side the small triangle is a mouth and the lines are eyes.

I'm a prison warden or a "screw" as we are called in the Uk. The best job i've EVER done. Before that i worked in a bar whilst studying criminal law at uni. I applied for this job out of curiosity more than anything & was shocked when i got an email asking me to attend an interview. 6mths on the job training & a few exams i got offered a full time position. I love my job & would not change it for the world :)

I put unemployed there because its a reality too many people are facing in this economy and I thought it was rude to assume everyone had a job. My intention wasn't to find out how many "bums" were on this site nor do i think people who are unemployed are bums.
