One thing a few people have said to me over the years is
" please, don't ever change "
I never knew how to take it but i think it's good
Although the last person who said it later broke up with me because I wasn't willing to change for her
Hmmm, maybe someone saying they like my taste in music
My daughter made a speech at my 50th birthday party and said she'd always had unconditional love from me: doesn't stop her from treating me like shit because she was right!
My niece texted me that she was prouder of me than anyone else in the family - that was just wonderful and the text is still in my phone
My father said I had done a noble thing when a rescued an injured kitten from under a bush after what was most likely a run in with a car's fanbelt. I don't know exactly what happened to the kitten I rescued, but the vet had to amputate his left leg, because that side of his body was shredded up pretty badly. I adopted the little orange tabby of course, and he went on to kick ass and take names for the rest of his life!
"I was afraid you would be out of my life for good. I'm glad your still here."
" You are a good listener, I like talking to you. You make me feel better because you really listen."
Something like that. That's the sweetest thing someone has ever said to me.
"You are impressive"
Maybe something else. People are generally kind to me. But that was the first thing to come to mind.
