    Tomboys are just girls who like to get dirty and are not overly prissy. I think most men prefer them since they are far less matienence.

    As long as she ain't a butch then whatever. Also are we talking about a REAL tomboy, or one of those people who only dress like that so they can say they are and get attention?

      Real, girls/women that dress like that for attention are annoying to me as I would describe myself as a tomboy it puts alot of negative thoughts in peoples heads

    I don't want to speak for men, but as a tomboy myself, I've noticed that men will trust and confide in a tomboy more often and see you as one of the guys. And then there are the guys who love girls who are basically guys, but with boobs and a vagina. Girls who like 4 wheeling, or cars, or video games, or their favorite kind of music, who aren't afraid to get dirty or wrestle or bust their balls (in a fun way).

    I find most guys can relate to tomboys more than the stereotypical "girly" girl. My male friends will refer to me as "dude" and "man" all the time without correcting themself because it's their way of respecting me as a fellow guy.

    You gotta be pretty specific nowadays. What do "guys" think. Are we asking straight or homosexual guys? And then even the term "tomboy". Are we talking about straight or homosexual women?

    Personally, if it makes you feel like a baws - then you go girl! OR, boy!

    It really depends on the girl, I've know lots of tomboys growing up. Some were fun, rough and tough, some were just lesbians, some were very cute even though they were rough and tough. It really all depends on the girl, I would date one with no issue if we got along and I found her cute.

    I voted friends, nothing more, but TBH I'm single and not looking, so it doesn't matter if you're in a freaking dress and tiara it'd be the same answer.

    I think I don't know how to approach a tomboy though, because they never seem interested? Like, femininity is usually seen as a way of "being pretty to catch a guy's attention." If she's not trying to be feminine, it can come across as she doesn't want any attention.
