Just be yourself, and have a healthy body for yourself.
What men and women want depends on age, maturity level, culture, and life experiences. Not every guy is going to find every girl attractive and that's okay. Trying to find a common denominator in what men want is foolish, and it'll only drive you to be someone you're not.

That is what I wanted to say too, only you've said it better.
My own preference has changed as I have grown up and matured. When I was a teenager beauty was all I lusted after. But then I realized most of them were so.... uninteresting. Not because they were born dumb (we all are) but because they can get away with anything and there will always be men who sought them and wouldn't mind it if they couldn't have a single interesting conversation.
But in order to have a meaningful relationship there are so many other qualities that are far more important. It depends from person to person. Beauty, intelligence, a good sense of humor, appreciation of wisdom etc. - you need a little bit of all these qualities.

Your comments are up, then they're down. Kind of like you let your emotions lead you (which makes me think that you are feeling stuck somewhere you rather wish you weren't, and probably because you have to and not because you want to). You sound like a single mother. Probably a good one, if you are a mother. You sound like you sacrificed things and put yourself second all the time.
I think that you lost your way and I would like it if you start to get some of that weight off your shoulders by just putting some of it into the hands of a greater, possibly sentient being. I don't usually advocate religion (because I myself am not religious) but sometimes it just helps to get things out. Use that Pressure Release Valve (I once saw you spoke of old cars with passion).
Recently I have been going through some trying things and I just decided to "talk to myself while closing my eyes".
I just ask for the same things every time
"Please let today be a good day"
"Please don't let people be rude to me"
"Please help my parents and look out for them"
"Thank you that I woke up today and I promise to try be a better person"It's just... it helps a little.

I think most women would rate me a 4-5/10, so I believe that's a fair expectation. Below 4 would be too ugly for me to be sexually attracted to. Above 5 would lure in too much competition.Personality : Quiet. Submissive. Loyal. Doesn't want kids.

In America, where 2/3 of the adult population is overweight, I can confidently say I am more physically attractive than at least 40% of the male population. Even with the tremendously inflated egos and hence standards of American women, I still think most of them would rate me at least a 4-5/10.

Let's keep it real bud, a 5 would be half a male model or David Beckham type. You really think you look half as good as them? Nobody on this site is over a 4, myself included.

I don't think you honestly believe nobody on this site is over a 4, you're just being downright edgy. There are a couple people on this site who are a solid 8+.
How am I trying to "look hard"? It's the most plain picture I could have possibly taken. I'm just making a straight face with ordinary clothes on. If you're referring to me not smiling, it's because I prefer the classic style portraits where the subject doesn't smile for no reason. I just think it looks more attractive than the modern standard of smiling like an idiot. Do you assume everyone you see in public with resting bitch face is a serial killer trying to look hard? smh fam.

Definitely beauty and loyalty. If a woman isn't particularly gifted intellectually, but willing to be loyal, many men can live with that. If a woman is gorgeous, but harbors a near palpable lack of confidence.....who cares? No guy that I've ever met. Humor? She can have the sense of humor of an Easter Island head for all I give a damn. I don't care if a woman is funny or not. That's what I watch comedians for. I don't need to date one. Talent? Immaterial.

But what I want in a woman would be beauty and humour. It's because I am visual at first. I know that beauty will fade when she hits her 30s but a girl who can make a guy laugh is a girl who can make a guy love.

well consider yourself in the minority then because men in their 40s will generally admit to finding women in their 20s the most physically attractive. now if you mean desirable overall, taking other factors into account such as stability, maturity, realistic expectations, treating men better, etc. then perhaps it complicates the issue a bit. that being said however, men are primarily visual when it comes to attraction. I'm not going to judge, but in your case maybe it's one of those grass is greener on the other side things.

I want her to be a person that never bores me, that i can joke and be an idiot with but whom i can also speak seriously about my feelings and my opinions. What she looks like is not that important, and Loyalty...Well, it's not important at all. If a person lies to me, that's just because i gave her a reason to.
